Since my initial purchase, I experienced a few months of "regular" oral care when I ran out of CloSYS. And I got canker sores! The CloSYS made them go away within 2 days once I bought my new paste! Love CloSYS!

2 things to avoid:
- Avoid rinses that contain alcohol! Alcohol-based rinses burn and irritate tissues, often taste bad,
and dry tissues, making them more susceptible to infection and decay.
- Avoid rinses that contain sugar! Sugary mouth rinses are a cover-up, not a cure. The sugar
actually feeds and encourages growth of harmful bacteria.
3 things to look for:
- Choose an oral rinse that kills strep (streptococci). They aid in the formation of plaque (which is the home
of the bacteria that cause gum disease). It can also help when you have a sore throat!
- Choose an oral rinse that kills the bacteria that cause gum disease and that inhibits their return!
- Choose an oral rinse that eliminates volatile sulphur compounds (VSCs). They help bacteria infect tissue,
and they are a major source of bad breath.
